Spenser Confidential offers a pretty well balanced mix of action and comedy, with a dash of suspense tossed in for good measure. The acting and character development are better than usual for this type of fare, with Wahlberg fitting his familiar role like a well wien suit. And Alan Arkin always adds extra spice to any scene he's in!
