Gulabo Sitabo is a quite funny and enjoyable film, and should be watched. The actors did a great job and brought to life some odd contrasting characters who create some amusing moments consisting of subtle humour. The story is a satire about some pitiable people and leaves the viewer with mixed feelings, and provokes thoughts about aspects of human nature like greed, ambition, selfishness, and insecurity.
The story moves at a slow pace and demands a considerable amount of patience from the audience to eventually end on a fairly satisfying note, so may fail to give all viewers a very engrossing cinematic experience. Nevertheless, the acting, cinematography, and production design are top-class and deserve acclamation.
My rating: 7.5/10
NB: Don't believe the film critics. The film has been underrated by them.
