I agree everyone can learn Auslan sign, I have. We learnt French/Indonesian at school but never used them. Learnt Auslan and I have full hearing.
It is a beautiful and expressive language.
If we can learn a second language, why not Auslan, give the brain some credit it is capable of doing both.
