I generally like JG as an actor but this movie was HARD to watch. Personally.. I’m tired of the ringing noises directors feel compelled to insert into the audio. Yes, we get it, his head hurts, he’s stressed and also having difficulty breathing. We do not need to be reminded of it every 5 minutes and certainly don’t want to feel continually disoriented as well. I’ll be watching the Danish original soon. By the sound of it, the Danes put together a much more natural story devoid of ear ringing and inhaler sucking madness. To be fair, i kept fast forwarding every time i felt like i couldn’t watch anymore.. just to see how it ended. Could have been a great movie had JG’s character not been such a noob.
