First time ever seeing this movie tonight haven’t ever watched the previous films or read the books. From my point of view as someone who has never watched or read the previous films and or books. It was alright it provided excitement and interesting scenes. Although, it was a long movie for sure and some of the scenes were kind of boring in my opinion. My favorite part of the movie is when Paul says his mother is pregnant even though she hardly knew herself. The ending kind of gives away at the fact that there is gonna be a sequel due the way it ended. In a way the storyline was kind of short but the movie felt long as it was a 2hr movie.

I personally loved it I went to go watch it with my father and I am a big fan of the franchise. I like how they included part of the storyline from the original movies. although, I don’t remember some of the scenes from the original movies I won’t spoil it though. it’s in the beginning. It kept me on my toes during the scenes where he was on his killing spree. especially in the beginning. what surprised me was the ending I won’t say much as I don’t wanna spoil it. but let’s just say history has a way of repeating itself sometimes in a much more gruesome matter. also, in my opinion this is the bloodiest, most gruesome Halloween franchise movie to date!

I'm going to go see the movie tonight and hopefully, it's as good as these reviews say it is I will give an update as soon as I'm done seeing the movie to see for myself what the movie actually is like. Update: I went and saw the movie and my only opinion is that It could have been better. the "jump scares" in the movie weren't really jumpscares in my opinion. and the whole storyline was kind of confusing to follow and the one part that got to me was the ending they left on a VERY confusing cliffhanger overall I thought It was okay but It could have been better
