I first thought this would be a martial arts film which is why I first saw it almost 20 years ago. There was plenty of martial arts fighting with plenty of special effects excellently done, but there was also a plot one of deceit and romance as well, all with beautiful regional landscapes. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon has something for everyone.
