I have finished the book now, that long journey has now come to an end...I always knew it will but this truth is bittersweet...
I finished the whole book in one day, no kidding. That has always been me I usually finish 500-600 pages in a day(Uncle rick has trained me) considering the fact that the book was interesting. As I finished it, I knew that I had to write a review. SPOILER WARNING
Initially I wasn't really hooked up...but it got really interesting later as the plot built up. I loved how the past scenes of Arrow of Dodona were filled of humour but in the end it became another great sacrifice. Apollo learnt, he became a better person...that really got me. The ending was the best part...piper's part wasn't my favourite...it felt as if everything happened too soon...I really wanted to see more of Percy and Annabeth, but I still loved it...their parts conveyed how you have to move on. Especially Apollo's significant change, trying to understand humanity, remembering how it is to be a human was what really made this book stand out.Well did I say, there are major hints for the next book for probably Nico di Angelo....but no Percabeth, and not the seven...it has ended now... I loved how Uncle Rick put an end to it...a happy ending that can make you cry. I am quoting the end scene...because it made me cry...
Meg: You'll come back?
Apollo: Always, the sun always comes back
It was a beautiful adventure reading the whole series but it really had to come to an end but in this case the end was beautiful. Thanks Rick Riordan for this masterpiece. For me, the whole demigod universe(PJO,HOA,TOA) will always be irreplaceable.....
