The film held our attention despite the lack of sirens and gunfire, car chases, sex scenes, helicopter gunships, global war and imminent death for hundreds of thousands of people. A simple but engaging film that demands your attention to follow the storyline, this portrayal of an innocent young man is strong enough to carry the film to conclusion. His "femme fatale" is equally engaging, if not more, than "Bart". the night clerk. Helen Hunt supporting Bart is also well done.
