Maha Huneidi

This movie by Darin Sallam is a must watch. Farha is the heartbreaking real life story of Radiyyeh. It’s but one of the many harrowing events that took place during the Nakba when 700,000 Palestinians were forcibly displaced Farha (Karam Taher) witnesses the murder of a Palestinian family by Israeli soldiers through the the cracks of the door of her pantry where her father had locked her to keep her safe. She finally escapes to Syria where she tells her story to the to the director’s (Darin sallam) mother. Karam Taher’s performance and body language is such a treat, it’s so natural and captivating, and fittingly so since the the majority of the film revolves around her… she really brings the story to life.
