I'll give it 3 stars and that is for the great cinematography, sets and costumes. Beyond that, this is a regurgitation of 2nd and 3rd wave feminism. The protagonist, Bella, can only grow through a myriad of sexual liason, most as a prostitute to earn money. The movie ends on a note of the only male lasting is a weak male who constantly leaves him to be with other men. To call it satire would be disrespectful to the genre.

This is a neo noir flick that needs to be seen. It contemplates."what does it mean to be human". The quintessential existential question, "am I the sum of my experiences or am I more?" The parts are very well played. The scenary is rich and full. Little things that seem like mistakes begin to make sense. A great watch .
