I originally went in for Jim Carrey and to show support for them fixing Sonic's horrible character design: What I didn't expect was for it to be the best video game movie yet. "Sonic the Hedgehog" feels like it was made *by* fans *for* fans with its surprisingly top-notch charm, humor, visuals, and music. Truly a pleasant surprise.
