The art style of most anime seems like it's designed to only appeal to people already into anime. Mainly incredibly annoying characters and it's completely unwatchable to a general audience.
This show was great. It has a unique premise, unique aesthetic, and characters who don't make me feel like I'm watching a show for adults who like kids in the wrong way.
More animated shows like this, and you'll actually get non-anime fans into anime.
