I honestly had no intention of watching this movie but since my family wanted to watch it I was forced to go along. It was SO SLOW I literally fell asleep in the theater, which I never do, and the ending was predictable.
Golden ticket in the mother’s candy bar, really? How surprising. Like I said, the story was so slow that when the golden ticket was revealed it could not care at all and was actually happy when the movie ended, not because Noodle was reunited with her mother but because I was going to hang out with my friends after the movie.
I’m not looking for pity with this paragraph, I’m explaining why I don’t sleep in movie theaters; the reason I don’t sleep in the movie theater is because I have sleep apnea so that makes it harder for me to get oxygen to my lungs for me to breathe, but the fact that I was able to sleep knowing that it would disturb the other people around me because of how it sounds like i’m choking should hopefully emphasize how I mean by the movie was slow.
