In my humble opinion, Season 1 was a compelling thriller. Season 2 devolved into an attempt to be an updated West Wing, using similar camera work and similar story lines. Timothy Busby showed up playing a shrink to a troubled president . He was CJ Craig’s boyfriend in WW. Adam Arkin was the shrink in WW, ministering to a troubled president and to a troubled member of the White House staff. I don’t know if I’ll watch season 3. What I did appreciate was a presidential character with values, ethics and flaws. I still believe that West Wing was a superior program with amazing writing and character development.
