As someone living in the UK in a traditional Edwardian property with nods to the Victorian era I cringe every time I see her literally destroy unique original features. Here in the UK we generally don't paint brickwork particularly not grey or white, it suffocates the bricks. I've just watched an episode where a big kitchen had bay windows from ceiling to floor, just beautiful and was horrified she boarded up the lower half to build a blue pleather banquet to put a painted table in, despite skipping a similar solid table that just required some tlc. I just don't think she should turn a key in a traditional American build yet alone "improve" such historical homes... please someone stop the madness before you all loose your beautiful solidly built history.
