Fantastic series, Arnold! Uplifting, Funny, well-written, great dialogue, great acting. Casting is fantastic with some newer faces who are excellent actors playing believable characters. Some hilarious, ironic scenes, with a high moral tenor to it also. Well-executed action scenes, great locations - the board room where they meet, the airplane they're on frequently, the tech control room, labyrinthine tunnels and caves. Important to cast new faces for supporting roles - makes characters easier to believe, as there are so many skilled actors to choose from. The music and lighting are good, high-quality production values. It's addictive, plan to spend a day or two bingeing. Highly recommended. Thank you, Arnold, for coming back, and heading this cast. Such a great spirit and light emanates from you, combined with character depth. Perfect action hero personality!

Surprising that a movie filled with Academy Award-winning actors and director/writer could be so depressing, pointless, unsatisfying. Understandable why stellar actors would accept the job in order to work together. Paul Newman must have just needed the money; not right for this role at age 72. James Garner had lost his appeal as well, just repeating lines. In the late 90s aging movie icons didn't keep their steam like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Liam Neesom do in 2023. Many scenes are cliche, empty, almost feel like rehearsals or random improvisations, i.e. Susan Sarandon giving CPR to her husband. Her hysterical scene near the end makes no sense; nothing leads up to it, why doesn't the old detective understand "people like them"? Despite the array of talent, the writing feels thrown together. Reese Witherspoon was almost believable as the daughter but too wise at age 17 (age 26 at the time). Skilled actors did the best they could, must have enjoyed working together, but without coherence and many missing segueways. Not as much fun for the viewer. Perhaps key scenes were cut or mis-edited. No excitement, no tension. You keep waiting for resolution, but you find none.
