OMG, I so got sucked right into this one and binge watch the entire season!😄 I am happy to say I loved it. Can't hardly wait for the second season.. like really hurry up. It's refreshing seeing a show represent the Indian community. The only other network I've seen do this is Bravo with Family Karma. This show however is a window into the life of an Indian American teenage girl and how her American ways clash with her Indian culture. It beautifully illustrates/celebrates the Indian culture/community and does not hold back to what those “aunties" are known for. Through humor and love we get to grieve the loss of her father, and see the trials of being raised by a tuff , no nonsense mother. While navigating through high school and shedding her nerd image. All in all it's a great show, keep it coming. Oh and having it narrated by tennis legend John McEnroe is the cherry on top.

Five stars! Yes five stars! #blackAF is one of the best bingeworthy shows I've seen on Netflix in a long time. I appreciate Kenya Barris dry humor. The family dynamic is hilarious. The series is funny and unapologetically real.
