Your oil report regarding Canadian oil that was broadcast today was very one sided and dishonest. You mentioned that President Biden has restricted drilling on some locations. You forgot to mention those were locations in federal lands which comprise less than 10% of the total leases held by big oil which are going undeveloped. You failed to mention that big oil has 6 to 9 thousand leases on private lands that are sitting idle and undeveloped. Yet you failed to question big oil why these leases are undeveloped. In a press conference this week Jen Psaki mentioned these leases. Finally the tar sands mentioned by this oil lobbyist who now works for Alberta is pushing dirty tar sands that are highly corrosive. The existing Keystone pipeline is leaking like a sieve. These tar sands are too heavy to refine into gasoline and that oil going through the proposed XL was meant to be exported. The oil mentioned in your lopsided report would not benefit the US oil issue. Your report was extremely inferior and poorly done. I will be sure to change the channel when your program comes on.
