If you're a fan of Junji Ito and uzumaki, this is probably the best adaptation if any of his works ever. It is definitely worth a watch. If you don't know anything about him or his works going in, expect to be a little confused, and thrown a bit off by some of the more unintentionally goofy horror elements. I wish the production studio got the rights to adapt several more of his works.

Starts off slow, picks up until about 6-7 episodes in, then it goes on the decline. The 3D animation is a bit lame, and the series attempts to stay afloat off of the 'rule of cool', unsuccessfully I might add. If you can turn your brain off and ignore what doesn't make sense, you can extract some enjoyment from some of this series.
