Overall I liked this game. Some have said it can become repetitive and lacks depth. While there are parts that do seem to just be variations on previous missions, the team did obviously work to build a deeper story with just a few parts and the narrative limitations of what is essentially a single person game with rather static NPCs and modest multi-player interaction.
I have to say that the visual story telling is superb and for those willing to look for clues, hidden items, Easter eggs, and embrace the world as it felt back in 1989, this is a great game. I was in Berlin, Germany, 775 km away, on the date the game starts, and the vibe is so on point.
I should point out that for the time, the graphics are very good and there have been nearly continuous updates and improvements along the way.
Currently playing on the "final island", part of the concluding missions, just added to the base game, for free I might add. Also closing in on getting all the achievements, however the "Unorthodox Skiing" one still alludes me.
