I was very excited for the game. I've had it for all but the first couple of weeks that it was available. I liked that it was off to a good start and thought "after a few tweaks they could make this really good." They make changes constantly, but almost never for the better. Things like no matchmaking, mics that don't work when in a squad, wall/floor clipping, etc are all still problems. They'll push out new areas, that basically all of my friends and I hate, but won't fix the things that actually need fixing. I hate all three of the new areas. (Metropolis, Frontier, and Kingdom) To me, Kingdom is the best of the three, but I would rather just have Complex back. When friends and I play together, we basically avoid that half of the map, because we dislike all of those areas. We will occasionally go to Summit, but not often, because we know that we are going to get pushed into areas that we don't like. Fans have been begging for solos/duos since the day that the game dropped. Not everyone has VR, so a lot of us don't have real friends who play the game. As a result, we play alone a majority of the time. That leads to the problem with the lack of matchmaking. Where we always seem to get the worst possible squadmates, while playing against top ranked players. Even if I, personally, play well.... in a squad with an AFK player, and a kid screaming and shooting straight up into the sky.... we lose. If there was an option for singles, then I could play alone, and wouldn't get punished for not having friends who have VR. (Those that do don't have Population One) The only thing that was added to the game, that I really liked, was Team Deathmatch. Three problems though...... 1st and most importantly, they removed it from the game. 2nd the new version sucks in comparison. 3rd it never counts towards any of the events and challenges so there is no reason to play it. This game is just a money grab, for character and gun skins, while basically ignoring what fans have been asking for. Get rid of the head peeking, the wall hacks, the mic problems, the drifting issues, and all of the other problems. Ideally remove the building aspect as well. If I wanted Fortnite, then I would play it. This game had/has a lot of potential, but it feels like it gets continually worse over time, instead of better. If there was an option to refund it, as it stands, I definitely would. The only people still playing take the game WAY too seriously, so if you are going to be new to the game, expect to spend a lot of time dead. The game was, and could be a lot of fun, but at this point it rarely is.
