SPOILER WARNING: The first whole section of this beautiful game is one fans complain about as they do not like the fact that naughty dog brought a political split in joel’s decision to save ellie from the fireflies, by killing him off that made hundreds of players dislike the game as he was an outstanding character. What those fans do not realise is that joel’s decision caught up with him and gave a realistic fate that was given to him by an angry daughter of a doctor working for the fireflies, i agree on the fact that abbie and her friends were very very unlikeable not only for the decision they made but also they were poorly written and blander than ellie’s half. Despite that the general gameplay is very clean and polished,the way the characters move,how ai die,how they call out for their allies as they fall, the ai and combat is very fluent, even during abbie’s section naughty dog do make a point of changing some areas of combat (eg. making abbie stronger than ellie) this is served for a brilliant ai and combat system. As the story evolves you can see personality changes as shifts between characters paired with almost perfect pacing. The reason i gave this ALMOST perfect game a 4/5 stars is because of the amount of time the game tries to make you like abbies story and characters when it doesn’t work since there will always be that bias of her actions with joel, also how they develop joel’s kindness through him being more empathetic towards abbie because of his amount of time spent around people, evolving his character over time while ellie’s character develops into a more savage and mean person since her rage building towards abbie. This is an excellent game with beautiful and polished graphics gameplay and story just the time spent with abbie was a little annoying and decreases that replay ability. NOTE: if you are a reviewer rating this game lower because of LGBTQIA+ characters and good storytelling that you can’t stand because you do not understand the moral meaning of the story do not share your idiotic views to public
