The author has a horrible reputation based on the exploitation of her son and the neglect of her adopted daughter. It is so disgusting. And her behavior and treatment of her son and adopted daughter reflect a lack of humanity and call into question any inkling of authenticity in this book. Why has she not spoken, or apologized for making a 9 year old disabled child live alone. Again- disgusting! She should be so ashamed.
