It was watchable, but barely. Pros: couple of chuckle scenes, Jason Bateman Cons: can't remember the chuckle scenes. Obvious pushing of left agenda. Bad acting. Weak storyline. If I hear the term "miscreant " in the next 10 years I'm punching something Right from the get-go you could tell they were pushing female dominance. No problem watching females lead the way, but it was done in a way that was annoying, probably due to the acting.. And there were too many liberal drops,and I'm so tired of politics....the "good" mayor was stated as progressive, heavy weighted lead actresses, an identity question, and several gay drops. And the acting was really bad. Writing was very weak. Lots of negatives, but it was free(if you have Netflix). I watched the whole movie, but couldn't a 2nd time. I like female leads, and it was nice that one was black. But she certainly didn't earn the roll. As long as you're not an avid Conservative, it is 1 time watchable, if you have nothing else to do and don't mind wasting your time. But, I also realize everyone is different, so maybe you might disagree. If you laugh during preview, give it a look. If not, it won't get better.
