Being from Tamil Nadu and growing up in the 80s, I distinctly remember the constant news of the Tamil Tigers being broadcast and published every single day. So the content of the book was almost relatable although it is a work of fiction. I picked up my copy from the famous Shakespeare and Company in Paris and was told that it was a very good book when I was hesitating about the purchase. Indeed the recommendation is not wrong!
