The movie, to be honest, isn’t very good, and I wouldn’t recommend it. I wouldn’t spend my time watching it, mainly because the two main characters are quite disconnected from reality. I didn’t like how the movie portrays their feelings, especially when they both express that they dislike traveling and don’t feel comfortable anywhere. Liam’s character, in particular, left a lot to be desired. They failed to convince me of the supposed love story, especially when they were supposed to be at a writer’s retreat to celebrate his girlfriend’s accomplishments. Instead, Liam felt left out during a moment that should have been about supporting his girlfriend, and he never made any effort throughout the movie. From there, watching him flirt with Laura’s character felt uncomfortable and, frankly, wrong—because it is wrong. Neither character is likable, there is no character development, and both of them are flawed in ways that make the movie unenjoyable. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.
