Sooo Disturbing - a very well done documentary, but be warned — it is not for the faint of heart. I cried a few times. I am a documentary buff; while the topic is difficult to watch, the doc itself is one of the better documentaries I’ve seen this year! From the get go, everything points to someone with antisocial personality disorder; a clinical psychopath. I just can’t believe the evil that lives in the world; in my line of work, I’m reminded of it often, but I am still so shocked and horrified by it. And yet, the people in the world that fight for the underserved, for the voiceless, or to hold others accountable for the horrible things they do — sets some amount of right to a world often wrought by wrong.

I want to like this show! Desperate for more “This Is Us” I went back to “A Million Little Things” for the 2nd season after having gave up on the 1st season about 2/3 of the way through. So far (5 episodes in) Season 2 isn’t better than Season 1. That said, I’m actually still watching it for basic entertainment value; thus, why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 star! The acting/actors are the only real redeeming aspect of the show. The writing is absolutely terrible. I can’t connect to the characters at all; the characters feel so one dimensional and dramatic that it doesn’t lend itself to portraying a story in which the audience cares about the lives of the characters at all. The worst character is Maggie, who is supposed to be a therapist but has the emotional maturity of a teenager! Based on the potential of the pilot, first few episodes, and the premise of the initial story, the writers threw away what could have been a great show with vapid characters and a storyline that — pun intended — splats into a million little pieces of nonsense.
