I'm an avid reader and fan of Wings of Fire, and even I can tell you this was EASILY the most boring book in the franchise. Overall the 3rd arc isn't really good-- the weird plot twist of 'evil plant is the reason why everyone is racist :(' and suddenly making scavengers important is already bad enough, since I started the series because it was about DRAGONS, not humans, and suddenly turning around and saying that they're important now is frustrating. And yeah, I'm sure Tui was tired when she was finishing up the series, but come on. I'm not kidding when I say you can skip all of part 2 of the book and miss almost nothing. Ask a lot of WoF fans and they'll say the same: that this book was disappointing and the 3rd arc was generally just weird.
