I have only recently started to watch this show. Lawrence O’Donnell is a genius at getting a political point across without initially mentioning the name of the person he is obviously referring to. I watched his show this evening when he spoke of leaders like Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt who had suffered serious illnesses. Both Churchill and Roosevelt were brilliant leaders and served to go on and win WW2. There was no social media back then, so their strokes were not common knowledge. Both were brilliant leaders as we all know.

This is without question my favorite show. It covers subjects from all walks of life. I watched the horrific findings of what took place against the indigenous people’s of Canada. The appalling cruelty they suffered at the hands of people who professed to be religious. The stripping away of a persons real identity. The many that died. I saw the story about the plantation house and the Miller family. The people that were enslaved by white families, used and discarded. Raped and beaten. How dare anyone try and take away the history of the suffering of these people. Thank you 60 minutes for your excellent programming.
