The circle of cash. Whats the morale consensus on putting in so much effort to form CGI replicants for a group of animals that in reality are gravely threatened with extinction? Its ok kids the real things might be gone tomorrow but we have weirdly cheap looking, dead behind the eyes, zombie-animals that can ape along what you already know word for word, scene for scene. Not as well but you can ‘relive’ the ‘nostalgia’ of lion hamlet in the cold, calculated void with no vision or imagination known as the future. Lets see how real they look in the next looped remake and whether we have any lions left outside of zoos or pixels.
