honestly a very boring movie. every second word was either "rich" or "poor" and the whole point of the movie was kinda lost. most of the public got bored after an hour and we barely stayed awake. there was only one fun scene and that's it.

⚠️SPOILERS⚠️ First and foremost, I wanna state that I'm not a huge DC fan so I will rate this movie on how I've experienced it without comparing it to other movies and/or knowing the whole story of DC's superhero universe. I would give this movie a solid 7.5/10. When the movie started I was so happy and excited because of the music and it's color scheme. I loved that most of the scenes contained color blue without it being too annoying and "eye-stabing". Aesthetically, the movie was very pleasing to watch but the moment that kind off ruined it for me was the animation of flamingos because it was obvious that they wanted to save some money so they took scenes with those birds as less important so the CGI was much worse compared to the rest. When it comes to the characters, I do have some complaints. Some of them were too cliche. Funny uncle, parent that dies in the middle of the movie, etc. Also, I didn't like how they suddenly portrait Nana as some type of ex-gangster/ex-soldier or whatever. It was funny, I have to admit that, but it was just so sudden and forced. It didn't seem natural but more like "oh let's just make her badass for the sake of the laughter." Few things seemed to be unnatural and unlogical. How does his uncle suddenly know how to fly without any pilot experience? And how did he survive a huge blast that Ignacio has fired at him? Plus, it was weird how they all suddenly agreed to save Jaime few hours after their dad's death without any of them looking too sad and affected by it except for Mili. They all agreed immediately without any of them being too worried and/or a little bit hesitant at first. It looked like they already knew they are in some superhero's story and they will get everything they need and survive which, of course, happened later. Some scenes appeared to be too rushed. I love when things happen in a movie but I'm not a fan of constant jumping from action into the action without having something in-between when it's obviously needed. I have to mention the scene where Jaime was talking to his dead father in his head. Their conversation felt like the writers didn't put much effort in it. I also have to mention this scene where they were working on a plan how to save Jaime. It all seemed poorly done and like they forgot to put some important details like the mom and Mili showing some signs of fear and skepticism. After all, they were about to go into a real fight with a lot of armed guards. When it comes to the ending itself, it was also poorly done. It reminded me of the movie Encanto when their house fell apart and the whole village or town came together to help them. And we got that basic ending where the main character and main female lead suddenly kiss and he takes her home. It was missing so much and this whole movie deserved a bit of a different ending. This one felt like they didn't want to worry over details and just wanted to end the movie. On top of it all, I loved the action scenes and how Jaime and Khaji-Da's symbiosis slowly progressed. I liked Ignacio's character and his backstory made me shed a tear. He deserved so much better. When it comes to the main villain, I can for sure say that she was getting on my nerves more and more throughout the movie. I like it when they to that to villains but I wish they worked more on her character. All I remember now about her is that she just wanted that scarab and that her family relationships weren't that good. If there were few more details about her it would've been just enough. But even after everything I've said, which appears to be a lot, I still enjoyed the movie and will probably rewatch it after some time.

⚠️small spoilers⚠️ I find this movie to be a masterpiece with all the details and scenes. While i was watching it i forgot about the time but it got boring near the end when they were in a small green room. Even though that part was boring it still added up to the atmosphere of the whole movie. I love how victims were represented in people celebrating the success of atomic bomb. Truly a work of art and creativity.

The movie was enjoyable and it's still iconic in it's way. Scenography and casting is great but the biggest issue is the whole story. What was the point of it? Patriarchy is presented as something bad and that men r not capable of leading, while matriarch is presented as something perfect. I get it that they probably wanted to empower women but they failed miserably. Why r Kens shown as stupid and naive and that all they care about r Barbies while Barbies r shown as independent women? Of course, the movie was funny, i enjoyed watching it but when u sit and think a little bit about what was shown in it u realize how wrong it is. The movie itself deserved some type of hype but it's a fact that it was overhyped. As i started watching the movie it felt like i've already seen it because too many of it's scenes were shown in the trailer so it ruined the beginning. It felt boring. There were few sexual jokes throughout the movie and, while i don't have any issue with that, there were some parents with young children. Or the kids came alone with their friends/family. The jokes weren't something too special but they were unnecessary. Overall, if the story was different the movie would've been much better.

In short, the film is beautiful, the depiction of the landscape through the seasons is something superb, the very end almost made me cry and although it is not full of action, enough happens throughout the film and you simply become interested in the development of their bond, I have a complaint about the language because (although it's fictional) certain actors speak it too slowly and that destroys/slows down the moment a bit, also the way the mother of the main character shows her emotions through facial expressions stings my eyes

The movie is not too bad, but considering the book, too many important details were left out. I don't like that they took out the part where Ashley (in the movie Ash) explains to Darby why she should keep one eye closed when in the dark. I think it would fit great into the whole movie and we viewers would learn a new life hack. The death of certain characters was too fast, and the whole story was accelerated. I also think it would've been better if they had stuck with Lars' original look. Although I have to praise the actor for the superbly acted role of Lars. The film is not boring precisely because the story has been shortened so much that only those parts where the most things take place remain. It's not too bad, but it could be better. Also, the actress who played Darby also played everything great. I enjoyed the movie, but the book is simply better.
