The gay representation in this show was so well done because it can often feel forced but in this show it was shown in a way that was believable which allows you to focus on the story more. The story was also amazing because it showed the struggles people go through at that age without it being stereotypical allowing many people to relate to it. Overall I would give this an 11/10 if I could and it 100% needs a season 2
