This was my daughter’s first cinematic Marvel movie, and she loved it. That’s all that counts in my book! Don’t over analyse it, it is what it is great escapism awesome action scenes, brilliant fight choreography, good central performances, and a couple of cool cameos. Just buy some popcorn and enjoy it.

Doctor Strange and the slightly muddled multiverse of mixed storytelling I feel would be a better title. I was excited to see the second solo film for Stephen Strange. But felt rather let down a bit like the end credits..there is no more. Waiting for something exciting to happen only to be disappointed The movie felt rather bloated, a vehicle to introduce new franchises F4 and X-Men in the middle segment. Wanda felt powerful but never threatening enough unlike a purple titan, Dr S didn’t know if he was coming and going for the most part, I know that was kind of the point, but I just didn’t feel there was a cohesion to the first second and third acts. It sets up further movies for sure, but after the success of some of the Disney plus solo series. I consider this could have broken down to a six parter on the Disney streaming platform. Special mention however to Xochitl Gomez a great addition to MCU. Can’t wait for Thor 4 however which was trailed before DRS2!
