I really liked the first original Castlevania series. It was so good and I told anyone who'd listen how amazing it was. I was so excited for Nocturne. Not sure why some people think Nocturne is better. In my opinion it's (season 2) the worst out of the entire series. I recently saw an article of how Clive Bradley ignored the criticism of fans and "led the second season of Castlevania: Nocturne to great success". Umm no. It has the same animation style as the first series but that's it. Voice acting and accents were pretty bad. We don't need that. I don't need Richter's mumbling. I had to use subtitles to understand what they were saying. I need clear and convincing voice acting. I didn't seem to care for any of the characters. They were just poorly developed and so bland. They were all so annoying that I didn't really have anyone to root for besides Alucard. The first series had well planned out fight scenes, hot vampire girls, awesome last bosses. Nocturne so far has none of this. I liked Olrox as a character but his role was so minor and predictable. Wished he did something more impactful that displayed his strength and crafty character. Spoilers below. Nocturne season 1 was just ok. I had to endure the cringey singing. I mean the first time was ok but to repeat it again and again. Seriously? And for some reason I didn't understand and did not care about Annette and her African-influenced past. Same with Maria. She was so annoying. Doing stupid things. But when Alucard made his entrance at the end I was totally hyped. What a boss. He killed that annoying Drolta like she was nothing. Finally! I was getting sick of her obnoxious character. This shows how he's simply a whole class above everyone else. What happens in season 2? She comes back ffs. And somehow she's stronger too. So strong that she could best Alucard in speed and fighting prowess. That's just ridiculous. She has wings, how can she move like him (magic and levitation)? And how does becoming a night creature make her that much stronger? You don't see any other night creatures kicking ass. And then the worst part happens. She takes out the "last" boss. What a let down. For the final big bad boss that everyone was having trouble with to be taken out by her servant. There needs to be a hierarchy when it comes to strength. Can't just have a minion defeat a boss with no explanation. The writing totally disrespected Erzsebet and Alucard. Richter cannot perform magic but suddenly can thanks to a stressful situation and ends up easily kicking the asses of vampires he was previously having trouble with. Cool, I guess he's OP now? Nope. All of his following fights doesn't show him kicking ass anymore. It's like nothing has changed. If we have a season 3 I hope Clive listens to fans.

Optimus sounding like Thor ruined it for me. The story was very predictable. Good movie for kids. A few good jokes and funny moments.

Spoilers. Movie was very entertaining. Much better than the MCU Spiderman and very nice art work. Just 2 things I didn't like: 1) in an area with thousands of other Spiderman you'd expect it to be impossible for one to evade them all. Plus he's a kid with less experience. Him escaping was nonsense. 2) you would also expect him to go to the one place he can escape. At least one of them should have figured this out. Spiderman is supposed to be smart.
