At first, I hated this show simply because of the inconsistency and downright dumb changes they made to the lore and characters. The most illogical changes made to the show in an attempt to make it more politically correct stole from the essence from what it held in the games. But as the story progressed and things slowly started piecing together, things were looking up. And the political-correctness attempted changes, weren't being shoved in our faces like a CW show. I could've given it a 5 star, but of course there were a few issues. My main problem with this series is the chopping and changing between past and present were very inconvenient and confusing at times. Not to mention the few plot holes that were still not concluded. If you're a die-hard fan of the games, I'd suggest giving it a hard pass, however if you're like me, and appreciate video game lore taken as inspiration for the series to form something abit more unique with great potential, you can find this show to atleast be a 3-4 star. Maybe this could become better, who knows? Personally, I think this was a great idea and unique story, but implemented in the wrong way. No hate or love for show.
