Being Maronite Lebanese American, I was drawn to this series as it tells about the history of my ancestors in North Lebanon. However, the story became mesmerizing as I began to watch and I couldnt stop! It is engaging and moving as it tells several love stories during this time and lays out the history of the one of the cultures that occupied, and influenced Lebanon. I also used the subtitles to practice my Lebanese Arabic! I highly recommend this show for superb acting, stunning scenery, and moving, exciting story line! Thank you for this amazingly lovely work!
