It was clear from the first scene that this movie was going to be a treat for those fans who were clamoring for a darker version of Batman. It’s clear that Matt Reeves cares about the comics. The choice to make this movies mostly about Batman and not as much Bruce Wayne I thought was a great choice as I believe that is what lacked from the previous installments. Not only was this movie a masterpiece it also setup so many possibilities for sequels and shows while not taking away from the main focus of the movie. They did a great job of showing how corrupt Gotham is really supposed to be. They made this Batman so intimidating when he didn’t even have to speak, but at the same time he was vulnerable at the asylum when he thought that The Riddler knew his identity and was going to reveal it. Overall this movie was amazing but the sequels will be could be even better.
