Marco Polo

Cinematics were great. However, they are not enough to overcome the poorly constructed dialogue, pacing, and character development. What made Avatar great as a childrens show was it's direct narrative surrounding tough issues such as genocide, race, nationality, and cultural differences. Much of this was diluted in the current Netflix adaptation... with some story liberties introducing subplots that appear to be neglected entirely as the show progresses... dissappointed.

I thought it was ok. Uninspired dialogue and low stakes character arc. Improved from the first.

Was a strange amalgamation of character tropes brought together. The primary story was about the human connection. Amazing acting that was otherwise plagued by a poorly written script. Several instances of weird dialogue and harsh shifts in character development made the story difficult to appreciate. The final scene between the two main characters was totally bizzarre and diminished the greater narrative. I would not watch this film again but would encourage others to see it if they had some time to spare.

Like all of the final three films. I found the plot, character arc, and overall trajectory of episode eight to be inconsistent. Many may say that "nobody would be pleased no matter what they did" but unlike it's predecessors that managed to tell an encapsulated story within a chronological main arc... this film fails!!!!!!! The space sequence.... defying the laws of space? The death of the main antagonist amounting to nothing in terms of support for the main story? If it is playing for free somewhere.... and I have been drinking... I might consider watching part of it again. The actors were more or less good in their roles... some I would say were spectacular... just a very very very poorly written story.

I enjoyed it! Overall, a novel concept and a role that appealed to more of Hayden Christensen's stiff presentation than Star Wars.

Pure cinematic and fantasy gold!

Absolutely fabulous! Takes the story in an all new direction... pokes fun at itself while still providing the kind of character development fans invest in.

Inventive, original, and well paced. This show is complex and wondrous to watch unfold. Hopeful Discovery owners to not chop this show.
