Tbh this series felt like a old nostalgic toy you're siblings all used to play with and then you visited the family for the holidays. After some exploring of old photos and knick nacks you're brothers and sisters come across the old worn out toy collecting dust in the attic. You guys share back fond memories to each other and your favorite parts about it. But one of your siblings tries to bring it back even though it's fine the way it is, sure its worn and a little rusty buts it is a classic and you guys all know how remaking old things doesn't work. But for nostalgia's sake you agree with slight worry. He goes to work at it, there's much hype, excitement and surety knowing he has what he needs to make it great. He shows you the first work and its got all the nostalgia you love at first somethings you remember are gone, taken, or replaced with something unique that you didn't see coming and gave you a little fire of hope about the revival of your family's favorite "heirloom". But your loved one is not done and promises more next time and goes to work. This time no worry is on any of your hearts. Your family gladly observes the continued progress but it was terrible and awful, felt like he had choked under pressure of his previous work. With a deep sigh everyone is saddened at the lost of the purity of the original piece, now tainted with rushed, emotionally hyped work and now the impending doom crawls closer. He must finish it, now it's too far to call it off, but what does it matter. The feeble attempt to restore the classic feel is loss and all hearts are brought low at what has been wrought on this beloved toy. Grudgingly you view his final piece and are appalled at the disgraceful and grotesque methods used in the last step. Duct tape and cheap plaster connected to pieces that didn't need to be taken off, glue dripping off like a tacky crafters work. The old is all but gone, replaced with new things that fail to restore the original glory of the predecessor. A great classic brought low by modern destruction. You look upon this old heirloom and slowly place it back in the attic with the care you're sibling should've been using, wrap it in soft cloth, as place it back in the attic where it should've stayed in the first place.
