Boring. Slow. No plot. Surprised that there are so many "Luvvies" out there that mention the word beautiful. It is not.

A humourous and gentle series following the relocation of a family to New Zealand from Australia following the death of the mother/wife. Plenty of laughs and storyline along the way as they try to fit into the lives of the eclectic locals. Great viewing and worthy of binge watching. After 3 series you want it to continue but it ends on a good Hugworthy note and quite appropriately. After a couple of years we have watched it again and thoroughly enjoyed it 👍

It's four hours of your life that you won't get back.This sort of drivel could have been made into a one hour event and posted on one of the lesser watched channels. It's ideal for those who want to read the meaning of life into everytyhing but for entertainment value it stinks!

Please don't overly critique this film. Accept it for what it is;a gentle ride through a father-son broken relationship with the restoration of a broken house bringing them together. A lovely "cameo" plot of the son falling for a local girl adds another layer to the film. An enjoyable way to pass a cosy evening.
