Took our four year old tonight and wasn’t expecting too much since it was a box office bomb, but our family really enjoyed it. Most movies don’t hold my son’s attention for the entire time, but he really liked the concept and all the different flying machines and sci-fi style technology. Really loved the characterization of the three Clade men - they’re all very different but they all love each other and support each other in their own ways by the end of the film. It’s a great adventure story and coming of age film. Yes, one of the main male characters is romantically interested in another male but it’s not really a main part of the plot. My son has gay family members and this doesn’t bother him. If it bothers you, you should really get out more because my four year old is less triggered than a lot of the crybabies leaving these reviews.
