"Black Warrant" is a well-crafted series that offers a fascinating glimpse into the workings of Tihar Jail in the 1980s. The show is marketed as the story of Sunil, the Jailor, who is determined to tackle the systemic issues within Delhi's infamous prison system. However, from a viewer's perspective, the series doesn't quite deliver on the "wow" factor. While it's admirable that Sunil ultimately creates a legal aid initiative for undertrials, which benefits many, I was expecting a more significant transformation or resolution from his efforts by the end. Nonetheless, it remains an engaging watch with insightful moments into prison life and reform.
