This is a great movie! I love how when you hit 11, 12, or 13 all new emotions just whack you right in the face. As a teenager I agree that anxiety really does take over your life and you can't control it. I also play hockey and the drills she was doing before actual practice were harsh and anxiety really pushes you to your max and when you reach that max (When Riley is in the penalty box) you absolutely lose it and anxiety takes over and you feel like everything is collapsing on you. I take magnesium for my anxiety but when I even think about the movie scene of her breaking down, I break down because it's so relatable. And because of anxiety it does feel like Joy and most emotions fade away and every single second your on auto pilot and anxiety runs it. Overall I think the movie well explains what's going on in a teenagers mind and I recommend the movie for parents and teens.
