The author tries to propagate an agenda based on his presumptions and fails miserably to back it up with actual facts and research. Several premises and assumptions show a shallow understanding or knowledge of historical events or ground situation and uses skewed perception and assumptions to cover up for it. The premise that Kashmir was colonised seems to be a peddling of flawed ideology of the author rather than a historical background, where a legal document of accession in the face of breach of sovereignty through a barbaric invasion by a neighbour. If the author had actually approached topics with a neutral viewpoint rather than selectively and objectively using misinformation to back up his own views, the book could've some credibility. As of now, the book holds no scholastic value, but a mere misinformation campaign.
