Missbah Naeem

This movie was nothing but horrible from the acting to the choreography. To put it simply, as a viewer, I cringed so hard throughout this whole movie. Why would you star a TikToker as the main lead of the movie if they are incapable of expressing the character that they are trying to portray? I didn’t connect with her character at all and don’t get me started on how fast this movie was moving. Everything was happening so fast and it makes it so hard to understand what is exactly happening. You can even tell that the production was rushed by the sheer amount of mistakes within the scenes. For example, in the scene where she dances in front of a crowd, you can see that her arm goes missing indicating that a green screen may have been placed. In another scene, when Addison Rae is passing out fliers, she doesn’t actually hand people the filers. Poor production and poor acting is all this movie is made up of.

This movie is wonderful and refreshing. You can truly feel the emotion and connect with the MC on a personal level whether or not you have been through her situation. I love how you can see that she is not over her pain at the very end of the movie which emphasizes that grief takes a LONG time to heal! Truly a wonderful movie that deserves a 5/5.

Shang Chi is an incredible movie even if there were so many cliches presented within the movie and a few missed jokes. The action is impeccable and the representation that is within this movie is something I love to see. It wasn’t exactly like a MCU movie that I was use to seeing and that made it even more enjoyable. It was more organic in a sense and the action wasn’t as hard-hitting. This is exactly what I call a movie.
