Fabulous film, based on real events, covering life in the Jewish ghetto in 1944 Poland. Robin Williams should have received an Oscar for his moving performance. Brilliantly acted & directed, the film conveys the horror of ghetto life under the Nazis, while highlighting the respect, commitment, and affection that the ghetto residents had for each other - filled with heartbreak & hope.
