Top tier Star Wars content With the exception of the slow Leia chase scenes the show is without fault, from the struggle of Anakin finally becoming Vader, to Obi-wan finally letting go and accepting his friend is gone. The direction and writing was incredibly well done and the show was clearly produced by people who deeply cared about the franchise. The passion to get things right was shown, and parts of the universe that didn't even need an explanation were given one subtly and fluidly. Finally a gripping story that added to the pre-existing universe was released. With the exception of Mandolorian, everything released after the Disney acquisition has been sub-par at best, with the sequel films being completely soulless and plot-hole infested travesties of cinematography. So it's incredibly refreshing to have been able to watch new Star Wars content that was fun, gripping and filled with emotional moments that really pulled at the heartstrings. It was the perfect follow-up to 'Revenge of the Sith' (one of the greatest films of all time) and bridged the two trilogies perfectly.
