Lisa Gosselin

The themes in this novel are universal; losing a child emotionally and physically, losing love in a marriage, teenage angst over relationships, rejection, heartbreak, mistakes, lying to oneself, etc the situations are written with such attention to real life and sincere raw emotions that you feel compassion for every character. The adventure at the end is so compelling that I feel as if I lived it. The way the comic book and Dante themes are woven into the story are very clever and thought provoking. It is a novel I read in two days but will last a lifetime!
