Never heard of the film till a few months ago. Foxtel has a station devoted to Aussie Classic films and tv shows. Put it on recently while doing a crossword and put my head up , now and again to sort of watch it and was intrigued by it. Gave it a couple of weeks and watched it without interruption and was just great from start to finish. Jenny and David both superb performations. Highly recommend for everyone who like me had not heard of it , to give it a go. Unexpected delight,very different

What a great little show. David Essex and Ringo Starr stand out in natural and believable performances, both appear very comfortable acting. Support cast is also good. It's the type of show that as soon as it ends , you want more or to see it again. The background music when played is great. Highly recommend for those haven't seen it to give it a go.
