Didn't really have much interest in the show when I was growing up in the 60's but for some reason I watched an episode here in 2025 and was so captured by how much it truly represents the dynamics of children and parents that transcends time. I could see myself in Ward and my wife in June and our kids in Wally and Beaver, although the show originally aired almost 70 years ago. Right now I've managed to watch the first three seasons and am into the fourth season. Lots of lessons to be learned for both kids and parents here. Moreover, it's a great throwback to yesteryear. Love how kids were so polite and respectful back then. I especially enjoy the character of Wally Cleaver.
